We booked a Cancun vacation with a travel agent who used Funjet Vacations. The reservation was for December 2017, 14 months out.

We changed plans within a few days of booking; less than a week. The travel agent said Funjet refused to refund the deposit of $240. It stinks. You know Funjet lost nothing on a cancellation 14 months out.

We have now lost $240. We had no idea there was a cancellation fee, even within a few days of booking.

The travel agent is going to refund the deposit out of her own funds out of goodwill. I'm sorry for her loss, but Funjets needs some regulatory intervention or class action lawsuits.
